About tkRaum
Some places are more than rooms.
For more than ten years, the “acting and arts” venue in the historic Neufang building in Saarbrücken has been home to our tango classes, the teacher training and international events. Friendships formed here, people from many countries met, and a lively community grew.
As its current owner steps away, we will gradually take over the premises and transform them into tkRaum, an open cultural space for Saarbrücken.
A new home for our tango, and a place open to dance, theatre, exhibitions, conferences and creative projects. Somewhere people meet, learn from one another and make something new together.
Behind tkRaum are Melina Sedó & Detlef Engel, with the support of their friends from Tangkombinat.
