Who is responsible
The controller is the operator named in the imprint. Send questions and requests to contact@tkraum.de.
Visiting the site
Our host, Google (Firebase App Hosting), processes server log data, including your IP address, to deliver the pages and keep them secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our interest in running a working, secure website.
Booking a room
We store your name, email address, phone number and the booking details you enter (rooms, dates, number of people, purpose, notes, language). We use them to handle your request, confirm it and contact you about it. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, taking steps towards a contract you asked for.
Signing in
To see your bookings, you sign in with a 6-digit code we email you. Signing in sets cookies that keep you logged in. They are strictly necessary for the service you asked for, so we do not ask for consent (§ 25(2) TDDDG). We set no tracking or analytics cookies.
Emailing us
If you write to us, we use what you send only to answer you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, depending on what you ask about.
Service providers
These providers process data on our behalf, each under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
- Supabase Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) Database and sign-in
- Frankfurt, Germany
- Google (Firebase App Hosting) Hosting, runs our server
- Server in the Netherlands. Requests pass through Google’s edge network, usually at the location nearest to you.
- Lettermint Sends booking and sign-in emails
- EU
Supabase is based outside the EU, and Google’s parent company is in the USA. Even with our data stored in Frankfurt, both may access it from outside the EU, which counts as a transfer to a third country. For Supabase that transfer rests on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and its data processing terms also include the Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and contact data for as long as we need it to handle your booking. Where we issued an invoice, German tax and commercial law (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB) requires us to keep the invoice records for eight years.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to contact@tkraum.de.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. Ours is the Unabhängiges Datenschutzzentrum Saarland.
